The rate is shown the same way the app shows it when you pay: RM 1 = how many yuan. Higher number = your ringgit buys more yuan = cheaper for you. TNG eWallet and Alipay do not give out their rate publicly, so the live market rate is pulled from exchangerate-api and a ~2–3% markup is taken off — that is roughly what the wallet charges.
