True Cost & Selling Price Calculator

China goods (1688/Taobao) → Malaysia. Every box can be changed — the numbers below are just a starting point.

1 · RMB → RM Exchange Rate

loading…

The rate is shown the same way the app shows it when you pay: RM 1 = how many yuan. Higher number = your ringgit buys more yuan = cheaper for you. TNG eWallet and Alipay do not give out their rate publicly, so the live market rate is pulled from exchangerate-api and a ~2–3% markup is taken off — that is roughly what the wallet charges. When you see the real rate in the app while paying, type it into Rate used so the numbers are exact.

2 · Seller Links — optional

You can leave these empty. Put one seller per row and write anything you want to remember in Remark — price, minimum order, colour, who replies fast. Open opens that link in a new tab.

3 · Goods Cost (RMB)

Discount is taken off the unit price first. The custom made charge is added to every unit; the mould / setup charge is a one-time cost for the whole order.

Carton note — optional

One product can go in several parcels of different sizes — click Add another parcel size for each different size. Total CBM adds up every parcel row by itself; you can still type over it. Weight is yours to fill in — leave it if the freight is charged by CBM.

5 · Local & Other Costs

The damage rate raises the cost of each unit you can really sell — usually 2–5% for glass or ceramic items.

6 · Selling Price & Platform Fees

Three ways to set the price, and the LAST one you fill in wins: a multiplier, a target margin, or your own price in ringgit. Type your own price when you already know what you want to sell at — the calculator then tells you the profit instead of the price.
Shopee defaults: commission 6%, FSP 3%, transaction fee 2.12% (SST included) — change these to the real rates on the HASUGA account.
